Quantum Information Systems is seeking a Application Server Administrator for a contract position in Richmond, VA
**Candidate must be US Citizen**
Candidate Requirements:
o Considerable experience working in a Technical Support role with multiple industry and organizational exposure.
o Knowledge of SQL Server database and application tools (Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services, SQL Server Agent).
o Considerable experience in System Administration functions including monitoring, maintenance, auditing, tuning, and configuration documentation.
o Experience with Content Management Systems and related functionality including products like Ektron and SiteCore.
o A thorough understanding of enterprise technologies including web technologies, programming languages, OLTP/OLAP technologies, SOA technologies, database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server and other SQL database platforms), multi-tiered systems, multi-user and multi-tasking operating systems, and knowledge management systems is required.
o Experience with the following tools/languages/technologies: HTML/DHTML, Visual Basic, VBScript, XML, .NET, Java, PL/SQL, ASP.Net, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, and related Web technologies.
o Knowledge of Web Server software Internet Information Services (IIS) and ColdFusion.
o Knowledge of and experience in security infrastructures as it relates to integration of systems, data encryption techniques, authentication and authorization.
o Knowledge and experience in web services and related standards (WS-*) is required.
o Excellent verbal and writing skills and the ability to develop and present complex material effectively to a variety of audiences are required.
