Quantum Information Systems is seeking a SOA Programmer for a contract position in Richmond, VA

We are looking for an engineering professional to help design, develop and deliver the Enterprise Service Oriented Publish/ Subscribe model for SOAP/HTTP web services. The Enterprise team is looking for experienced developers to join us in building a robust, highly scalable and distributed SOA. Working in a team of highly experienced engineers, you will use our standards-based integration technologies and toolset to expand Workday�s business offering through the delivery of quality integration components. This position offers the opportunity to drive the design, development, and delivery of complex integration products in a SOA environment. Candidates must be passionate about innovative software development, eager to learn about cutting-edge technologies, and have proven ability to deliver quality software.
Requirements
o Utilizing Websphere ESB IDE
o Responsible for designing and developing service oriented solution logic as web services.
o Deploying service enabled logic to Websphere ESB.
o Developing aggregate web services, mediations to provide real time transactions.
o Employing ESB capabilities appropriately from service discovery and availability
o Analysis of data flow and issue resolution analysis
o Designing effective solutions for complex programming and program debugging
o Being able to provide mentorship and support on Websphere Enterprise Service Bus, WSRR, MQ, WTX, IBM SOA suite.
Required skills:
o 7+ years in developing distributed and modular computing solutions � 7 years
o Strong knowledge of IBM SOA tools such as Websphere Enterprise Service Bus, Websphere Registry and Repository Server, MQ and Websphere Integration Dev � 7 years
o Strong understanding of Agile and Iterative methodologies (desired) � 7 years
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a global team environment (desired) � 7 years
o Working knowledge of XML (Extensible Markup Languge), XSL (Extensible Stylesheet Language), XSD (XML, Schema Definition) DTD � 7 years
o Working knowledge of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) , WSDL, JavaScript, HTML, etc � 7 years
o Working knowledge of JMS (Java Message Service), Web Services, MQ Messaging � 7 years
o Experience with decommissioning legacy systems and designing the future state architecture (desired) � 7 years
o Experience with HL7, HIPPA, NEIM is a plus (desired) � 5 years
